Technologue.id, Jakarta - Acara penghargaan The Game Awards 2021 sudah selesai. Sederet judul game yang masuk ke 30 kategori telah resmi diumumkan pemenangnya.
Penghargaan Game of the Year, kategori paling bergengsi di gelaran tersebut, berhasil diraih oleh It Takes Two. Game yang diterbitkan oleh Electronic Arts ini dinilai mampu berikan pengalaman terbaik dari segi kreativitas maupun teknis.
Selain jadi game terbaik pada tahun 2021, It Takes Two juga dapatkan beberapa penghargaan lainnya, yaitu Best Family Game dan Best Multiplayer Game.
Selain It Takes Two, game Forza Horizon 5, berhasil memukau hati penggemar di kategori Best Audio Design, Innovation in Accessibility, serta Best Sports/Racing Game, meskipun game itu belum lama dirilis.
Sementara itu, game first-person shooter (FPS), Deathloop, dapatkan dua kategori The Game Awards 2021, yaitu Best Game Direction dan Best Art Direction.
Di kategori game indie, Kena: Bridge of Spirits dapatkan dua kategori sekaligus, yaitu Best Indie Game dan Best Debut Indie Game.
Lalu ada game Genshin Impact yang berhasil bawa pulang penghargaan Best Mobile Game. Sebelumnya, game buatan Mihoyo ini harus bersaing lawan game mobile populer lainnya seperti Fantasian, League of Legends, Marvel Future Revolution, dan Pokemon Unite untuk meraih gelar tersebut.
